Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MRS app ("MRS: PDF Editor, Scanner & OCR", "the app") made by Songtive SIA ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as allowed by the App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.

2. MRS Premium

The app is free to download. Some features need MRS Premium, an auto-renewable subscription. The plans, their length and their price in your currency are shown in the app before you buy. Prices can differ by country and can include taxes.

3. Free trials

Some plans start with a free trial. When the trial ends, the subscription starts and the price is charged, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

4. Billing and renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price of the plan, unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends. The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time: on your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. When you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and no further payments are taken.

6. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are decided by Apple under its policies. You can ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

7. Your content

The documents you scan, import or create stay yours. We do not claim any rights to them. They are stored on your device, so you are responsible for keeping backups. Scan, edit and sign only documents you have the right to use.

8. Signatures

The signature tool places an image of your handwritten signature on a PDF. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, and we do not guarantee that a document signed with it is accepted by every recipient or meets every legal requirement.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use the app to break the law or other people's rights, to forge documents or signatures, or to reverse engineer, copy or interfere with the app.

10. No warranty

The app is provided "as is". Text recognition and receipt reading can make mistakes: check important numbers and text yourself. We do not promise that the app is free of errors or always available.

11. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for loss of data or documents. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

12. Changes

We can update these Terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, the new Terms apply.

13. Law

These Terms are governed by the law of Latvia, without taking away the protection of the law of the country where you live as a consumer.
